Gunmen in Philippines kill second broadcaster in 24 hours

Manila: A radio broadcaster has been killed by gunmen in the Philippines, the second journalist to slain in the country in less than 24 hours.
National police chief Jesus Versoza has created a task force to investigate the killing in northern Ilocos Norte province of Jovelito Agustin, a reporter and anchorman of local radiostation DZJC Aksyon Radyo.
Police said two motorcycle-riding gunmen shot Agustin in Ilocos Norte's capital Laoag City onTuesday night as he and a nephew were on another motorcycle on their way home to Bacarra townshipafter Agustin's late evening broadcast.
Tuesday's killing happened less than 24 hours after another radio broadcaster was killed.
Agunman shot Desidario Camangyan of Sunshine FM radio as he hosted a singing contest.
