Bomb hoax at hearing for coup plotter
An unidentified person warned authorities about a bomb inside the building of the Court of Appeals on Monday.
Manila: An unidentified person warned authorities about a bomb inside the building of the Court of Appeals on Monday, which turned out to be a hoax, a senior official said, adding the incident happened when relatives of a failed coup plotter were scheduled to air their complaint about a missing kin.
Petition
The false bomb threat happened before the scheduled hearing of the petition of the relatives of former Marine Sergeant Monchito Lusterio, for the issuance of a writ of amparo (to chastise people in power who could be responsible for people who went missing).
