Manila: Young actor Baron Geisler has been subpoened on the charge of acts of lasciviousness filed against him by the daughter of a well-known showbiz couple, radio reports said on Friday.
Patrizha Maree Martinez, daughter of former matinee idol William Martinez and actress Yaho Aguila, has sued Geisler, who participated in last year's celebrity edition of Pinoy Big Brother, the local version of a European reality show.
The younger Martinez has accused Geisler of making sexual advances to her in a bar in Makati City last month. Martinez said she saw the actor in the bar while joining some female friends. She invited him to join as Geilser was a family friend. The suspect and the victim's mother had become close during the reality show.
Martinez said Geisler, notorious for his drinking, was already under the influence of alcohol when he approached her. He denied the charge saying he was merely demonstrating to Martinez his new movie role as a sex maniac.
The victim is asking 5 million pesos (Dh454,545) in damages.
