Senator offers reward for killers' arrest

Manila: Senator Ramon Bong Revilla has offered a half a million peso (Dh42,901) reward to anyone who could provide information that would lead to the arrest of the suspects in the killing of his 22-year-old brother, Ram Bautista Revilla.
Ram, an actor like his father Ramon Senior, was fatally shot and stabbed by unidentified men who barged into his house in Parañaque City before midnight on Friday. His girlfriend, Janelle Manahan, was also shot twice but still managed to call the police.
Out of danger
Manahan was declared out of danger, the senator said. "She told us there were two men wearing bonnet who entered the house," a policeman, said.
Ramon Senior, 84, was an action film star who later became a politician. He has over 80 children with many wives.
