Islamabad: Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardardi will meet in Pakistan soon to discuss how to restore the deposed judges, a key Sharif aide said on Friday.
Ahsan Iqbal, information secretary of the Pakistan Muslim League-N of Sharif, gave no date for the meeting between Sharif and Zardari, who heads the ruling Pakistan Peoples Party.
He said the two top leaders of the ruling coalition, who both are currently abroad, would meet in Pakistan.
He said their talks would focus on the implementation of a joint declaration they made in March to reinstate the judges President Pervez Musharraf had sacked under emergency rule.
Iqbal stressed that the solution to the country's problems lies in the implementation of the Murree declaration.
