Several hundred people from a cross section of society gathered at the Pakistan Association in Dubai to offer prayers.
People came from all over the UAE to the association office.
There were heartrending scenes of people, specially Pakistan Peoples Party supporters, who have been interacting and working with Bhutto during her eight-year stay in Dubai, consoling each other. They were crying for the loss of their leader and were also venting their anger against the Pakistan government for failing to protect her.
Pakistani Consul General in Dubai Chaudhry Abdul Hameed along with other diplomats also came to attend prayers.
The prayers were also attended by supporters of other political parties including Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz), Awami National Party and Jammat-e-Islami.
