Pakistani forces clash with militants in Bajaur region

Islamabad: At least 20 militants, including foreigners, were killed by Pakistani security forces in clashes along the Afghan border, a security official said Thursday.
Pakistani troops, backed by helicopters, clashed with militants in the the village of Rashkai in the restive Bajaur region, security officials said.
A military official said four soldiers were also killed in the clash, which began on Wednesday.
"We've almost taken control of the area. Our troops are advancing and the operation is likely to be finished today," said an official who declined to be identified.
