Musharraf 'will not be hauled before court'
Former president Pervez Musharraf is unlikely to be tried in court and is expected to go out of the country soon, said Asfandyar Wali, the chief of the Awami National Party - a key ruling coalition partner.

Islamabad: Former president Pervez Musharraf is unlikely to be tried in court and is expected to go out of the country soon, said Asfandyar Wali, the chief of the Awami National Party - a key ruling coalition partner.
"I think he will go out of the country," he told Gulf News in Islamabad.
About the split in the ruling coalition, Wali said that Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif's decision to quit the ruling coalition was expected because there was nothing common left between that party and the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).
"The removal of Musharraf was the binding point between the two parties and their split was quite natural after Musharraf's resignation. Now he is thinking of watching his interests for the next elections," he said.
Wali made it clear that his party, which has 13 seats in the National Assembly and a majority of seats in the NWFP assembly, would support presidential candidate of Pakistan Peoples Party Asif Ali Zardari.
"Why should I not support them because they are the largest party and the people have given them the mandate in the last general elections? Also, Zardari fulfilled all his promises made to me," said Wali.
He said his conditions to enter the coalition were dropping the project of Kalabagh Dam [which has already been done], changing the NWFP province name to Pakhtoonkhwa and giving the province autonomy.
