Five injured in bomb attack near school in Peshawar

Peshawar: Pakistani police say a bomb has exploded near a school in the northwestern city of Peshawar and injured five people.
Peshawar police chief Ijaz Khan said the bomb was planted in a car outside a home near a school Thursday evening in the Gulshan Rehman area of the city. The nearby school was closed at the time.
Local police official Aalam Sher said the injured were being transported to the hospital. Footage shown on local TV showed people who appeared to be teenagers being put into ambulances.
