Islamabad: At least three people were killed and 27 others, including five soldiers, reportedly wounded in a bomb explosion in Khuzdar city in Pakistan’s restive Balochistran province on Saturday.
The blast from an explosive device planted by suspected militants damaged a targeted vehicle of the Frontier Corps persponnel, police said.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
The southwestern province is plagued by a long-running separatist insurgency involving ethnic Baloch militant groups and also has a history of sectarian violence.
