A Ukrainian helicopter crashed into the Black Sea on Monday, leaving nineteen people dead, according to an official.
Moscow: A Ukrainian helicopter crashed into the Black Sea on Monday, leaving nineteen people dead.
The Mi-8 helicopter belonged to Ukrainian state energy firm Naftogaz and crashed when its tail struck a company offshore platform, a spokesman said.
Only one person onboard survived.
Russia's Itar-Tass news agency said the passengers were employees of the gas company who were on their way to an off-shore drilling rig.
