Dubai: Thai International will resume flights from Dubai to Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi International Airport on Friday, according to a press statement.
From Friday, all flights from Middle East to Bangkok will operate as scheduled.
Also on Friday, the Airports of Thailand said that the Suvarnabhumi airport has resumed full operations after a week-long shutdown due to anti-government protests.
The announcement brought hope to 230,000 tourists stranded at the airport, where thousands of protesters had staged sit-ins to force the government to step down.
"We are up and running and its business as usual," transport minister Santi Prompat told reporters during a tour of the airport.
