South Korea wants arrest warrant for suspect in stabbing rampage
South Korean police on Tuesday said they want an arrest warrant for a suspect in a stabbing spree that left five people dead and seven others injured.
Seoul: South Korean police on Tuesday said they want an arrest warrant for a suspect in a stabbing spree that left five people dead and seven others injured.
Police said the 31-year-old suspect, indentified as Jeong, set fire to a lodging house and stabbed to death five residents trying to flee the blaze on Monday.
A sixth resident died when she jumped from a fourth-floor window in the burning building. The seven injured in the rampage remained in hospital on Tuesday.
Police said Jeong, would face charges of arson and homicide for the attack.
