An earthquake measuring 6.6 magnitude on the Richter scale hit Indonesia on Sunday, the US Geological Survey reported.
Washington: An earthquake measuring 6.6 magnitude on the Richter scale hit Indonesia on Sunday, the US Geological Survey reported.
The earthquake, which struck at 1446 GMT, was 182 km southwest of Padang, Sumatra, in Indonesia, the USGS said. It was centered at a shallow depth of 12 km,it said.
