Kathmandu: Another 19 bodies were recovered on Tuesday from a river in Nepal where a bus crashed a day earlier, officials said, bringing the death toll from the accident at 36.
A police official said there were more bodies trapped in the wreckage.
Rescue operations have been hampered by rainfall, as the river is already flooded and murky.
The bus was carrying Buddhist pilgrims to a religious fair when it crashed on Monday and plunged into a river southwest of Kathmandu.
Police were still investigating what caused the crash.
Thirty eight people were saved and 17 bodies recovered on Monday.
