Olympic torch arrives in Tanzania
Dar El Salam's mayor Adam Kimbisa received the Olympic torch from a Chinese official, assuring him its passage across the East African country will be smooth.

About a dozen riot police surrounded Kimbisa as he received the torch from a Chinese official at the airport as it was taken onto a bus.
Kenyan Nobel Peace laureate Wangari Maathai has withdrawn from the torch relay in Tanzania to protest China's human rights record.
The next leg will take place in Oman.
