It's triplets again for teenage mum
A teenager in Argentina is now the mother of seven children after recently giving birth to her second set of triplets.
London: A teenager in Argentina is now the mother of seven children after recently giving birth to her second set of triplets.
The 16-year-old girl, known only as Pamela, had her first child - a son - at the age of 14, before delivering her first set of triplets last year. Both sets of triplets are girls and were born without the aid of fertility treatment, the BBC reported.
The latest arrival has boosted Pamela's already considerable brood to seven in a case that has sparked heated debate across the South American country.
Discussion of the teenager's alleged promiscuity is a hot topic in Argentina's cafes and bars, while many Argentinians have expressed their concern and disgust in letters to newspapers. Many argue that Pamela needs more advice on contraception.
Pamela, who lives in the remote town of Leones in central Agrentina, already receives assistance from the provincial authorities to support herself and her growing family.
