Indonesia has lifted its tsunami warning after tidal waves did not appear following a powerful earthquake that struck off the western coast of Sumatra island on Monday.
Jakarta: Indonesia has lifted its tsunami warning after tidal waves did not appear following a powerful earthquake that struck off the western coast of Sumatra island on Monday.
Indonesia's geophysics agency said that the initial warning has been lifted an hour after the earthquake of magnitude 7.2 hit the western coast of Sumatra.
