Incest father Josef Fritzl moved to long-term prison
An official said Josef Fritzl has been moved to the prison where he will serve his life sentence for imprisoning and repeatedly raping his daughter for 24 years.
Vienna: An official said Josef Fritzl has been moved to the prison where he will serve his life sentence for imprisoning and repeatedly raping his daughter for 24 years.
Prison management official Peter Prechtl said Fritzl was transferred from Vienna's Mittersteig jail to the Stein facility in Lower Austria province on Wednesday.
In March, Fritzl was convicted of holding his daughter captive in a windowless cellar, fathering her seven children and the homicide of one of them.
Prechtl says Fritzl's behavior was "inconspicuous" during his eight-week stay in Mittersteig, where he underwent a series of tests as authorities determined where to place him.
