Madrid: French police have arrested two suspected members of the Basque separatist group ETA, Spain's Interior Ministry said on Saturday.
The suspects were identified as Asier Eceiza and Olga Comes, whom police say was involved in a plot to kidnap and possibly kill councilman.
The arrest of the two comes days after nine ETA suspects were arrested in Spain.
Eceiza is considered a top aide to a senior ETA operative wanted by police, while Comes is linked to the nine ETA suspects arrested on Tuesday.
