EU calls for humanitarian aid for Gaza
The European Union called for the "facilitation" of humanitarian aid to inhabitants of the Gaza Strip and said Israel's ground operations there were "not surprising."

Czech: The European Union called for the "facilitation" of humanitarian aid to inhabitants of the Gaza Strip and said Israel's ground operations there were "not surprising."
"But even undisputable right of the state to defend itself does not allow actions which largely affect civilians," the EU's Czech presidency said in a statement posted on its website on Sunday.
