Electrical device explodes in Madrid
A Madrid official says an electrical device has exploded underground near Madrid's Atocha rail station, slightly injuring four workers and causing damage.
Madrid: A Madrid official says an electrical device has exploded underground near Madrid's Atocha rail station, slightly injuring four workers and causing damage.
The city government safety spokeswoman says the device, possibly a transformer, suffered a major fault and blew a hole in the road, spewing smoke and debris.
She says the workers were treated at the site and did not have to be taken to the hospital.
