A Chinese aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing on a southern island due to a technical fault, state media said on Thursday.
Beijing: A Chinese aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing on a southern island due to a technical fault, state media said on Thursday.
All 149 passengers aboard the Shanghai Airlines Boeing 737 flight from Shanghai to Cambodian capital Phnom Penh were safe, the Xinhua new agency said.
The aircraft landed safely in resort island Hainan's provincial capital Haikou, the report added.
Another aircraft was sent to Haikou and the passengers finally arrived at their destination early on Thursday, it said.
