China mosque collapse kills eight
At least eight people were killed after a mosque under construction in China's Qinghai province collapsed, state media reported on Friday.

Rescuers feared many more were trapped under the rubble. An investigation has been launched to find out why the mosque collapsed.
At least 24 people were injured in the collapse and three were in serious condition, the Xinhua news agency reported.
Rescuers feared the number of casualties could still rise. At the time of the accident, 31 people were working at the site.
Police have arrested a building contractor in connection with the accident.
