Car bomb blast damages club in N. Spain Basque town
A car bomb exploded in the Basque town of Getxo on Monday, damaging a club and nearby buildings.
Madrid: A car bomb exploded in the Basque town of Getxo on Monday, damaging a club and nearby buildings.
The bomb was left in a van outside the Maritime Club.
No one was hurt in the bombing since a telephone warning from guerrilla group ETA allowed police to evacuate people in the area.
The explosion came five days after a car bombing outside a police barracks killed Guardia Civil officer Juan Manuel Pinuel.
