Austrian man who imprisoned girl may have another victim
Austrian authorities say the man who held a young woman captive for 8 1/2 years in a dungeon he built beneath his home may have sexually abused another girl.
Vienna: Austrian authorities say the man who held a young woman captive for 8 1/2 years in a dungeon he built beneath his home may have sexually abused another girl.
Prosecutor's office spokesman Gerhard Jarosch says no investigation is planned because suspect Wolfgang Priklopil is dead, and the statute of limitations has already expired for the latest allegations.
Police say Priklopil kidnapped Natascha Kampusch when she was a 10-year-old walking to school, and held her in a windowless cell beneath his home until she escaped at age 18 in August 2006. Within hours, Priklopil killed himself.
Jarosch says another woman now alleges that Priklopil sexually abused her in 1985.
Officials say that woman, now 31, came forward after getting counseling.
