Berlin: An attack at an ice cream parlour in a German town left two men and a woman dead on Tuesday, police said.
Two men have been arrested in connection with the attack.
"We have a lead," said a spokesman for the state prosecutor in Darmstadt. The injured man is under police guard in hospital, and may be one of a group of assailants who attacked the parlour, a spokesman added.
Another man was seriously injured in an attack, in Ruesselsheim, a town near Frankfurt.
Media reported that the three men were Turkish citizens.
The attack involved both guns and knives and the woman was caught in the crossfire and fatally shot in the stomach.
The state prosecutor's office in a nearby town was unable to confirm the reports.
Police are searching for at least four people who fled from the scene.
