Harare: Zimbabwe police have arrested more than 30 people during the low-key nationwide strike called by the opposition MDC.
The opposition, led by Morgan Tsvangirai, had hoped the strike would have forced the release of presidential election results.
The arrests, which came amid a strike called by the opposition that went largely unheeded, showed security forces were continuing a crackdown amid a political crisis stemming from delayed presidential poll results.
