Students form help group
College students have formed voluntary groups in an effort to help families who are in search of missing relatives following the series of explosions that rocked Mumbai on Tuesday.

Mumbai: College students have formed voluntary groups in an effort to help families who are in search of missing relatives following the series of explosions that rocked Mumbai on Tuesday.
Armed with food and water, these youngesters are either found standing near hospital gates, or next to the bedside of an injured, at traffic junctions and even at blood donation drives.
Students buy food and water by pooling in their savings. Their mission is to get Mumbai back on its feet.
"I am quite shocked by the lack of human touch shown by nurses while dealing with the injured in the hospital. They should understand that the one who is injured is a human being and not a machine," said Ruby, a second year Commerce student.
They say it pains them to see Mumbai in agony. "We want to show all those people who are responsible for the bombings that they cannot break us. We will not allow them to suceed in whatever agenda they wish to follow," said Juwle Sufiyah, a Management student from Rizwi college.
Disappointed with the slow pace of government assistance to the victims and their families, the students said that they plan to write a report and submit it to one of their university professors.
The students said that it was encouraging to see people of all religion and caste coming together in this hour of need.
"This is when the real human essence surfaces. Had it been any other country they would have by now pressed the global panic button. Yes, what happened is very sad but life does not stop here," said Sufiyah.
