South Asia's largest defence fair began in India on Saturday, with hundreds of global weapons firms offering their latest hardware to the country's military.
New Delhi: South Asia's largest defence fair began in India on Saturday, with hundreds of global weapons firms offering their latest hardware to the country's military.
The Fifth International Land and Naval Systems Exhibition "DefExpo" 2008 kicked off in New Delhi, and is organised by Ministry of Defence in partnership with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
About 450 weapons companies from 30 countries are present at the four-day event with several big-ticket announcements expected.
