Kerala team on their way to Maharastra

Thiruvananthapuram: The repercussions of the serial blasts in Mumbai began to be felt down south in Kerala as news started trickling in about the identities of Keralites caught in the devastating blasts.
The state Cabinet which met here yesterday morning decided to send a team to Mumbai to assist Keralites who have been affected by the serial blasts.
Hundreds of people in the state who have relatives in Mumbai were desperately trying to reach out to them.
Several others who had seen off people from home to Mumbai by trains were also on tenterhooks about the situation in the city when they arrive there.
Kerala also set up control rooms in Thiruvananthapuram, Mumbai and Delhi to provide information on Keralites affected by the blasts.
Chief minister V.S. Achuthanandan held discussions with ministers after the blasts occurred, and gave directions to the non-resident affairs department for setting up control rooms.
