India demands Pakistan hand over terror suspects
US intelligence officials warned New Delhi in October of a potential onslaught from the sea .

New Delhi: India demanded Pakistan hand over 20 of its most wanted fugitives as a sign of good faith on Tuesday.
India's foreign minister said on Tuesday that it would be difficult to carry on in peace process with Pakistan started in 2004 unless Islamabad took action. "If these incidents ... are not adequately addressed by the other side, it becomes difficult to carry out business as usual and that includes the peace process," Pranab Mukherjee told NDTV.
India renewed its demand for men it has hunted for years in a protest note to Pakistan's High Commissioner Shahid Malek on Monday.
Officials said the list included Dawood Ebrahim, a Mumbai underworld leader, and Maulana Masood Azhar, a Pakistani cleric freed from jail in India in exchange for passengers on a hijacked plane.
Pakistan offered on Tuesday to help India investigate the Mumbai attacks and said it would "frame a response" to the Indian demand.
Unnamed US intelligence officials told ABC they had warned their Indian counterparts in mid-October of a potential attack "from the sea against hotels and business centres in Mumbai."
