23 killed in head-on collision in India's Assam
At least 23 people were killed when a bus collided head-on with a truck in northeast India's Assam state on Tuesday, police said.
Guwahati: At least 23 people were killed when a bus collided head-on with a truck in northeast India's Assam state on Tuesday, police said.
Another 40 people were injured in the crash.
Dhubri police chief Parthasarathi Mahanta said the bus was carrying 67 passengers when it hit the truck, which was hauling potatoes.
