The governor of Afghanistan's Logar province was killed in a suicide attack near Kabul on Saturday, police said.

Kabul: The governor of Afghanistan's Logar province was killed in a suicide attack near Kabul on Saturday, police said.

Abdullah Wardak was killed outside his house in Paghman, which lies some 20 kilometres west of the capital.
