Afghanistan says embassy bombers trained in Pakistan
Afghanistan says the militants who carried out a suicide bomb attack on the Indian embassy in Kabul were trained in camps in Pakistan, Afghanistan's interior minister said on Wednesday.
Dushanbe: Afghanistan says the militants who carried out a suicide bomb attack on the Indian embassy in Kabul were trained in camps in Pakistan, Afghanistan's interior minister said on Wednesday.
The attack on Monday left at least 41 people dead, many of whom were civilians.
"Unfortunately dozens of people who died or were injured during the explosion were civilians," Zarar Ahmad Moqbel said on a visit to neighbouring Tajikistan.
"Some nations are keen to derail the process of stabilisation in Afghanistan. The training centre for the terrorists who carried out the latest act of violence in Kabul at the Indian embassy is in Pakistan," he said.
Pakistan strongly condemned Monday's attack and denied any involvement.
Afghanistan has said the attack bore the hallmarks of a foreign intelligence agency.
