Dubai: Hot and sticky weather will prevail in coming days over the country as towering clouds bring scattered rain showers to parts of the UAE, said national weather forecasters on Wednesday.
According to the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology, temperatures will hover in the low to high 40s across most of the emirates.
Humidity will actually increase in the evening along UAE coastal areas as moisture builds up throughout the day in the next few days.
Weather conditions will be more comfortable in the UAE’s eastern mountainous areas with temperatures in the low to high 30s.
For Thursday, forecasters said general conditions will be “hot to very hot and hazy in general, partly cloudy over some areas.

By Friday morning, high humidity from the evening before could see some mist forming in some areas.
“The relative humidity will increase during night and early morning over some coastal areas and may some mist formation Northward,” the weather centre said.
High summer temperatures are expected to break at some point in late September giving UAE residents a much-needed respite from the seasonal heat of mid-year conditions, the centre has predicted.
