Dubai: Commuters faced heavy delays and traffic snarls on Tuesday morning as accidents affected a number of roads in Dubai and Sharjah, with three accidents happening on one major highway in the same hour.
Dubai Police reported an accident at around 7.10am along Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed (MBZ) Road near Global Village, stalling traffic heading towards Abu Dhabi.

By 7.50am, two more traffic accidents were reported on the same road, which led to a massive delay from Silicone Oasis up to Arabian Ranches.
Within the same hour, traffic accidents were also reported in Mirdif and on Ras Al Khor Road, further burdening the journey of drivers as the roads across Dubai were clogged with a sea of cars.
Drivers in Sharjah faced heavy delays as three accidents took place near Abu Shagara Park, near the Sharjah Sports Club and on Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Road near Industrial Area 12.
