Umm Al Quwain: Umm Al Quwain Police helped reunite an Emirati man with his two sons after two years of separation.
The boys, aged three and six, had been taken by their mother to Jordan following a family dispute two years ago.
The plight of the Emirati father came to the attention of the Umm Al Quwain Police’s Social Support Centre. First Lieutenant Saif Humaid Udran, director of the Social Support Centre, said the efforts of the centre in coordination with the UAE Embassy in Jordan and the Saud Bin Rashid Al Mualla Charity Association succeeded in bringing the boys back to their father.
Police coordinated with the authorities concerned in Jordan to complete the formalities so the boys could return to the country safely and be handed over to their father.
The Emirati father expressed his appreciation to the authorities who collaborated to reunite him with his sons.
