Abu Dhabi: President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan mourned the death of Shaikh Ahmad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who died in a glider crash on Friday in Morocco.
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Moroccan King Mohammad, Sudanese Vice President Ali Osman Taha, tunisian President Zein Al Abidine Ben Ali, and Sudanese President Omar Hassan Ahmad Al Bashir expressed their condolences to President Khalifa on Wednesday.
Shaikh Ahmad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Managing Director of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed Foundation for Charity and Humanitarian Works, died when a glider crashed into a lake near the Sidi Mohammad Bin Abdullah Dam near Rabat.
Funeral prayers will be offered at the Shaikh Zayed Grand Mosque after Asr prayers in Abu Dhabi after the arrival of Shaikh Ahmad’s body.
