Dubai: In a series of tweets on Sunday, His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, called for a simultaneous UAE flag raising on November 2.
The move comes after the Ministry of Cabinet and the Future issued a circular announcing that UAE Flag Day celebrations will take place on November 2 instead of November 3.
"We call on all institutes, ministries, schools and government bodies to raise the flag on November 2 at 11am at the same time, with one heart beating with the love of our land," Shaikh Mohammad said.
