Judge to listen to prosecution witnesses when hearing adjourns on Tuesday

Abu Dhabi: The State Security Court adjourned to Tuesday the hearing of a group of Emiratis charged with threatening national security.

In Monday's hearing, which was presided by Judge Falah Al Hajiri, the court listened to the testimonies of prosecution witnesses in the case of the illegal secret organisation.

The  judge will continue listening to prosecution witnesses on Tuesday.

According to the Ministry of Justice, 129 people, including male and female suspects who were present at the former hearing, and some of their families, were present at the hearing.

The hearing was also attended by six representatives from civil society organisations, as well as 15 media representatives, six lawyers and prosecution witnesses.
