Ethiopia will withdraw its troops from Somalia by the end of this year, a Foreign Ministry spokesman said on Friday.
Addis Ababa: Ethiopia will withdraw its troops from Somalia by the end of this year, a Foreign Ministry spokesman said on Friday.
Ministry spokesman Wahade Belay said his government had informed the United Nations and African Union of its decision by letter earlier this week.
Ethiopia has thousands of troops supporting Somalia's UN-backed interim government.
