Occupied Jerusalem: A southern Israeli town was struck by a rocket fired from the Gaza Strip on Monday, Israeli police said.
Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said the rocket struck near the centre of Sderot, but caused no damage or injuries.
Rocket attacks from Gaza have become rare since an Egypt-brokered truce came into effect last June.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the rocket.
