Palestinians want focus on colony freeze during US meeting
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas is expected to demand for a complete settlement freeze during his visit to the White House on Thursday.
Occupied Jerusalem: Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas is expected to demand for a complete colony freeze during his visit to the White House on Thursday.
Ahmad Qureia said that Abbas will talks about the Middle East road map for peace with US President Barack Obama.
"Any attempt to manoeuvre on the implementation of the road map regarding colony activities is unacceptable," Qureia said.
"What does a peace process mean when colonies are continuing on the Palestinian territories?" he asked.
"What we want is to immediately dismantle all settlement outposts and to stop what is called the natural growth in the colonies, and to stop all colony activities."
