Palestinian killed in Gaza air raid
A truce between Palestinian factions and Israel ended on Friday, raising fears of more violence.

Gaza: Israeli forces killed one Palestinian and injured three others in an air raid on the Gaza Strip on Saturday, one day after a truce between Palestinian factions and Israel ended.
Palestinian medic Moawiya Hassanein said the Palestinian was killed in northern Gaza on Saturday.
Israeli security officials say the man was about to fire rockets at Israel. Details about the nature of the strike were not available.
Hamas said on Friday was the official deadline for the truce to expire.
Hamas and other groups in the Gaza Strip said they were prepared for any military escalation with Israeli forces and possible Israeli army raids into the territory.
They said their fighters had undergone training during the six-month truce.
