Gaza: A gunbattle between Fatah and Hamas members in Gaza wounded nine people on Tuesday, a day after three gunmen were killed in clashes, witnesses said.
They said that Tuesday's clash occurred as hundreds of gunmen roamed the street of Gaza City's Tuffah neighbourhood.
Four of the nine people wounded were Palestinian teenage students, said medical staff. Three gunmen were also among the wounded.
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah has bristled over Hamas' rise to power over their faction, which has long dominated the Palestinian government.
Weekend talks between Abbas and Prime Minister Ismail Haniya of Hamas also failed to resolve security issues.
