Gaza: A Palestinian rocket crewman along the Gaza border has been killed and another has been wounded following a strike by Israel's air force on Tuesday, both sides said.
The air strike hit the Erez border crossing during a lull in fighting following the completion of a five-day Israeli assault on Hamas in northern Gaza which claimed 100 Palestinian lives
The casualties were members of group Islamic Jihad's rocket crews, who had been launching rockets across the border.
The Israeli military said the air force struck a rocket crew, adding that two rockets hit the Israeli border town of Sderot, damaging a house but causing no casualties, Army Radio reported.
