Gaza: Israel must release 450 Palestinian prisoners in exchange for captive soldier Gilad Shalit, Hamas leader Esmail Haniya reiterated in a televised speech on Sunday.
Haniya reiterated the demand first made last year through Egypt, which is mediating peace talks between the two parties.
"Those who kidnapped Shalit maintain their demands on the number and identities of the Palestinian prisoners in exchange for Shalit," he said.
Israel rejected the list because many of the detained were involved in attacks that killed Israeli citizens.
Haniya said the issue could be resolved easily if Israel gave in to the demands.
Shalit, who was captured by Palestinian militants in Gaza in 2006, has become a sore point in the ongoing peace talks between Israel and Hamas.
Israel has demanded his immediate release for any peace deal to be made.
