Gaza: Seven Palestinians, including a child, were killed when Israeli troops opened fire on a small crowd that had gathered to observe the forces.

Palestinian witnesses confirmed an Israeli tank fired a shell at the group of onlookers in northern Gaza on Wednesday.

The army said it had carried out an air strike against several militants who had fired an anti-tank missile at the soildiers.
