Gaza: Despite rejections from big Palestinian factions, Hamas is to finalise its Cabinet and will submit names to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, a group spokesman said on Friday.
"The government will be ready tomorrow with its formation and its ministers but we will not announce the government before we hand it over to the president," Sala Al Bardaweel said.
A day earlier, two parliamentary blocs have told Hamas they would not join the government. Abbas's Fatah party also turned down Hamas, party officials said on Friday.
Bardaweel said the list of ministers will be submitted to Abbas on Saturday - when he is expected to visit the Gaza Strip for a dialogue with Hamas officials.
Hamas sources have said that Hamas leader in Gaza, Mahmoud Al Zahar, would be appointed foreign minister
